Barbara, her sisters, mother, and father loved to sing and there were always songs being sung in the house and at family get-togethers.
Barbara spent her entire career as a teacher, teaching third grade at the Daniel P. Hurld Elementary School in Woburn, retiring from the City of Woburn School System after thirty-five years. After retirement, she continued to give of her time to help whenever the school needed her.
