Barbara A. Allen

Barbara Ann Allen, resident of Dedham, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. She was 74 years old. Barbara was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on December 27, 1950 to Perry and Barbara Stuart. She grew up with her sisters, Sandra and Donna and went on to marry John Henry Allen. Barbara earned her associate's degree, and worked in the Quincy Public Schools as a school registrar. She has always enjoyed socializing and being with her friends, in her free time she loved sitting outside and talking. Barbara was also great with her hands, she enjoyed all crafts and especially gardening. Barbara also had a special place in her heart for her rescue dog Lolo, who was loved by the whole neighborhood. 

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Heather and husband Greg Johnson of Chicopee. Beloved sister of Sandra Galetti of Quincy, and Donna Parrish of Weymouth, and Aunt to Donna's children, Mark and Scott. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brittney, Trevor, and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Anita, Lux, Lyla, and Cole. 

A Visitation will be held at Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, MA 02026, on Tuesday, 18th of November, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Donations in Barbara's name can be made to American Cancer Society.
