Barbara Archer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Jan. 30, 2025.
Barbara Sue Archer, age 69, passed away on January 23, 2025. She was born to John William Stewart and Ouida Nell Harrelson on July 6, 1955, in Brewton, AL.
Barbara had a good childhood. She became a CNA early on as she enjoyed working with people, which was her passion to help them. After graduation she earned her CNA certificate. Barbara enjoyed cooking but she loved to bake most of all. She also loved camping and fishing, that was her favorite place in the world. Everybody thought the world of her, when she walked into a room, everyone would light up, that's how special she was to all who knew her.
She was the most loving person in the world. She especially loved her family dearly and all the grandkids very much. She was the best mom that you could ask for. She loved her husband, James Archer, Sr., very much. The two of them were two peas in a pod, they loved to do just about anything together, that's how strong their love was for each other.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Archer; her dad, John Stewart; and sister, Patsy Meade Stewart.
Those here to cherish her memory are her husband, James Archer, Sr.; daughter, Tammie Morris; son, James Archer, Jr.; 5 granddaughters, 6 great-granddaughters and 6 great-grandsons.
Her funeral will take place at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Visitation will start at 12:00pm with service to begin at 1:30pm. She will be laid to rest at Bagdad Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Kaleb, Tyler, Hunter, Francis, Chad and Brian. Honorary pallbearers will be Clint, Nicholas, Daniel, David and Dakota.
