Barbara C. Arnold

Barbara Arnold, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Barbara was born on April 2, 1935 to Sophie and Raymond Rychalski, in Detroit, where she was raised until graduation. She attended Dominican High School graduating class of 1953. Barbara was married for 69 years to her devoted husband James. Barbara was the heart of our home raising James, Anjel, Tod, Aron and Ryan in Rochester. Barbara loved to play baseball with her children, loved to sing "you are my sunshine", and ended talks with "I love you more". She will be remembered for loving unconditionally, speaking unapologetically, and being a positive force in our lives. As a family, we are comforted by our faith and know she is with the Heavenly Father. She is survived by her husband James, best friend & daughter, Anjel (Mike) Otto, sons, James, Tod (Lisa), Aron (Leslie) and Ryan (Jenna), grandchildren, Derek, Nathan, Caitlyn, Drew, Cameron, Austin, Logan, Kelly, Lindsay, Chelsea, Tyson, Jack; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Paula Mochan (Mark). She was preceded in death by her parents Sophie and Raymond, step-father Paul Mochan, brother Richard Rychalski (June), sister Ramona Sanders (Myron), daughter-in law Reba, granddaughter Natalie and great granddaughter Presly.
