Barbara Bailey Obituary

Barbara Marie Bailey, of Vichy, MO, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Maries Manor at the age of 81.

She was born on December 28, 1944 in Meta, MO to the late Robert Lee Brasier and Theresa Francis Elizabeth (Massman) Brasier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Emil Ralph Schraft; second husband, James Leroy Bailey; one son, Ralph Schraft; two sisters, JoAnn Vaughn, Dorothy Asevedo; one grandson, Dominic Schraft; and one great grandson, Lucas Schraft.

Barbara was a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall - Rolla for over 40 years, where her faith and fellowship were central to her life. She found great joy in cooking and sewing, always sharing her talents with those she loved. Barbara also had a creative spirit and enjoyed painting, often drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. She cherished time spent outdoors, appreciating the peace and wonder it brought her. Above all, Barbara treasured the moments shared with her family and friends, whose love and companionship meant more to her than anything else.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes: three sons, Drew "Danny" Schraft of St. James, MO, John Schraft and wife Janet of Depauw, IN, Donald Schraft and wife Sabrina of Vienna, MO; two brothers, Bill Braiser and wife Zelda of Springfield, MO, Bobby Braiser of Waynesville, MO; two sisters, Bonnie Jarrett of Crocker, MO, Sandra Glass and husband Bob of Rolla, MO; seven grandchildren, Austin, Derek, Brandon, Theresa, Robert, Timothy, Danny; and twenty great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Barbara M. Bailey will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m.
