Michael Fone Obituary
He was born on April 14, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to the late Clarence C. Fone and Lois Margaret (Reeb) Fone. On February 20, 1971, he married Mary (Kuelker) Fone and they were married for 55 years.
Michael was employed by Jim's Motors in Rolla and Powell Lumber Company. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and trotline fishing at Lake of the Ozarks. Going on vacation with his son and granddaughter gave him immense joy and he was able to see several different states.
Michael will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes: his beloved wife, Mary Fone of Rolla, MO, one son, Kevin Fone and girlfriend, Dianne Denham of Rolla, MO; a daughter, Christy Daniels and husband, Paul of Reed Springs, MO; one cherished grandchild, Kylee Fone and boyfriend, Wyatt Evans; and many friends.
A funeral service for Michael C. Fone will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
