Barbara J. Baker

Mrs. Barbara Jean Williams Baker, age 82 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at AnMed Health.

She was born April 12, 1941 in Corcoran CA to the late Leonard Cornelius Williams and Flossy Lee Lawson Williams. She was a pharmacy technician, loved to cross stitch, do crossword puzzles, work in flower gardens and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She attended Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are; her husband, Broadus Baker, daughter, Deborah J. Baker, granddaughter, Briana Baker, great-grandchildren, Ty Harper, Kiera Jester, Jamarian Jester and Ja'Nasia Jester. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, D'Etta Jean Baker Risner.

Funeral services honoring the life of Barbara Baker will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Eleven o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be at the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.

Family members will be at the home, 8427 Mt. Olivet Road in Hartwell.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
