Barbara Barron, age 59 of
Winnfield, LA passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2024. Barbara attended and graduated from Calvin High School. She then went on to further her education at Northwestern State University. To know Barbara was to love her, she never met a stranger and was full of life. To all of those who were near and dear to her heart, she loved each and everyone of them with her whole heart. Barbara wore a smile on her face that would light up the room and she had a laugh like no other. She loved her family fiercely and passionately. Even those that were not "technically family", once she saw how much they loved and cared for her family she welcomed you with open arms and you became family.
Barbara was beyond proud of her family. She was affectionately known to her grandchildren as "Meme" whom she bragged on every chance she had telling them often how proud she was of them. Like any grandmother, those grandchildren of hers held an extra special place in her heart. She was also known for her lengthy text messages to her grandchildren, telling them how proud she was and how much she loved and cherished them. When she saw them she would always hug them tight and tell them "even though you are now grown young men, you will always be my babies." Barbara will be dearly missed by all her family, friends and loved ones. Until we meet again... for this is not a goodbye, this is merely "see you later". When we ourselves have come to the end of our trail and are called home to live in eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Barbara was preceded in death by her sister Maria Williams. She is survived by her parents James Barron and Ruby Kirkland Phillips; fiance Ronnie Carnes; children Ashley Adams (Zane) and Terry Carson Jr. (Samantha); siblings Jaime Kersh and Dallas Barron; grandchildren Anthony Adams, Joseph Adams, and Blake Brewer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and of course by her furbaby Angel.
