Barbara A. Batula

Barbara A. Batula, 80, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center with her daughter by her side. She was the wife of the late William J. Batula.

Born in Lebanon on March 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Lillian (Kapp) Huston. She retired from the Payroll Department at Fort Indiantown Gap. She enjoyed camping, going to the family cabin in Fulton Co., decorating, crafting, her trips to Gettysburg, and watching NASCAR, especially Kevin Harvick and Bobby Allison. She also enjoyed collecting bears, moose, and Longaberger baskets.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle L. wife of Carl Fortna of Fredericksburg; grandchildren MiKayla wife of Eddy Richard of Montandon and Mariah Mauser of Jonestown; great grandchildren Domminick and Aria Mong and Bailyn and Colton Herman; brother Alan husband of Kim Huston of McConnellsburg; cousins Linda Eyer, Dottie Jurrell, and Jim Jefferies; sisters-in-law Marianne Morgan and Kathy wife of Randy Shaver; brothers-in-law Mike husband of Melissa Batula and Tony husband of Karen Batula; and several nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Marquetta Daubert.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Wenger's Meeting House Cemetery, Jonestown.
