Barbara R Beck

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved family matriarch, Barbara Beck. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her dedication and love for her family. Her passions in life were sewing, gardening, cooking for family gatherings, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. A native of Wisconsin, she spent her working years in Wisconsin and Georgia as an accountant for a number of businesses and also volunteered her accounting services at a local church prior to her working full time. At church she was a member of numerous ministries, but the one that she found the most joy from participating in was Loving Stitches where she sewed clothes for newborn babies. After retirement, she faithfully dedicated ten years as a volunteer with inpatient hospice. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, three daughters (three sons-in-law), five grandchildren (two grand sons-in-law), two great grandchildren. She is also survived by a younger sister. Visitation followed by a Rosary Service will be held September 17, 2025 5pm-7pm at Flanigan Funeral home in Buford, GA. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held September 18, 2025 10:30AM at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church in Snellville, GA followed by enrichment at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
