With hearts filled with love and treasured memories, we celebrate the beautiful life of Barbara Belford, born on April 29, 1933, in NYC, NY. Barbara had a smile like the rising sun, beaming with joy, and lighting up the world for those around her. She was known for her wit and humor, bringing rooms to tear-filled laughter even in her finals days. An avid dog lover, Barbara's home in Bexley, Ohio, was a haven for both two-legged and four-legged beings alike. Her love for her four children and their spouses, David and Jenni, Howard and Debbie, Steven and Theresa, and Audrey and Fred, and her sister Joan Prince, was unmatched. Her legacy lives on through her 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who will remember their Nana as the life of the party who loved the casino. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Rachel Queenie Pollock, her sister Selma Pollock and her husband William Belford. Her spirit of joy and affection will live on in all who knew her and loved her.
We are truly grateful for the love and care that Barbara received from her exceptional caregivers Maria and Alice.
A private graveside will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery.
There will be a shiva from 1:00 to 4:00 on Wednesday, October 8 at the home of Barbara Belford.
We encourage everyone who knew Barbara to honor her memory by making a donation to flyinghorsefarms.org and nankind.com (Please see below)
