Robert Stone

Robert "Bob" Stone, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2025. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, who always put family first. Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Columbus Ohio, a very energetic child who settled down when he started High School at Bexley where he became a star in basketball. He was an avid golfer and huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. He loved working at The Wasserstrom Company where he worked his entire career.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Susan; daughters, Jodi Kraut (Dave Foos) and Debra Stone Golan (Meron Golan); grandchildren, Kevin Golan and Elianne Golan; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hyman and Babbette Stone; grandson, Aaron Kraut; daughter, Cathy Stone; brother, Daniel (Alice) Stone and brother-in-law, Alan (Judy) Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Bob and Susan Stone Sunday - Thursday evenings at 5:30 PM and Friday until 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the James Cancer Hospital, Nationwide Children's Hospital or Congregation Tifereth Israel.
