Barbara A. Bertucci entered into eternal rest to be with her loving Savior on Sunday, March 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Bertucci, Barbara was a devoted and loving mother of the late Geralyn Alsobrooks (the late Gordon). Daughter of the late Harry Billiot Sr. and the late Thelma Comeaux. Sister of Brenda Chighizola (Melvin), Harry Billiot, Jr., Dottie Bailey (George), Robert Billiot (Pam). Cousin of Linda Fromenthal (Neil). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Matthew Tate, Joseph Tate (Jennifer), Heather Miller (Blaine) and Jordon Alsobrooks and her great grandchildren Harley, Brody, Jadealynn, Nicole and Layla Tate, Bailey Richards and Benjamin Miller.
Age 84, Barbara touched the lives of many people she met especially her friend Ms. Odeal. Together at Bayside they were known as the Golden Girls. Barbara was also a recipient of the Order of the St. Louis Medallion.
Relatives and friends, Parish family of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Billiot Brothers and Waggaman Golden Age Club are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, Louisiana on Friday, April 5,2024 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at the church from 8:45 am until 11.00 am, Reverend Sidney Speaks will be officiating. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
The family would like to thank Bayside Health Care Center for the excellent care that was given to Barbara during this time.
