Barbara Bittner Obituary
Barbara L. Bittner (nee Gyorog), of Gravois Mills, Mo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo to her parents the late Michael Gyorog and the late Edna Mikel (nee Wardle).
Barb is survived by her children Michael Wallace, Stacy Mulligan, Daniel (Jennifer) Bittner, Dennis (Amy) Bittner; grandchildren Joshua (Aimee) Wallace, Zachary Wallace, Makayla (Eric Camarillo) Hogan, and Nicholas Bittner; great grandchildren Rowan Wallace and Kylen Camarillo; and sister-in-law Patricia (Bruce) Setterstrom.
Barbara was preceded in death by her three husbands Charles Wallace, Robert Mulligan, and Phillip Bittner; son Chuck Wallace; and brother-in-law Gary Harris.
Life tested Barb in many ways but she met every challenge with strength and a smile that could light up the darkest room. Her hardships would have broken many, yet she carried on with laughter. Her strength was quiet but unwavering, and her joy was contagious. Barb finally found relaxation when she retired to The Lake of the Ozarks. Her greatest joys were a glass of wine in one hand and her other in the soil, cultivating both beautiful gardens and cherished memories at The Lake. Barb was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Barb's name to No Time To Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Wright City, Mo.
