Barbara Ann Bormann

Barbara Ann Bormann, 78, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on August 9th, 2025. She was born to the late James Kokinakis and Blanche (Hitt) Kokinakis in New Castle, Ohio on December 29, 1946. She was a cosmetologist and went on to marry the love of her life Dwight Bormann in 1966, with whom she would spend 41 years with before his passing in 2007.
Barb was a bright light in this world who had a love for cooking and animals, as well as crafting, but her number one joy in life was her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews with whom she loved immensely.
Barb is survived by her son Dwight Bormann, her sister; Debbie (Andy) Baleta, a brother; Andrew (Birdie) Koginos; her grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kelsey, Justin, Sophia and Tanner, as well as 3 great-grandchildren.
Barb is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter; Kimberly Schreckengost and 3 sisters; Sophie Shultz, Betty Mandaglio, and Kathy Carter.
Family and friends may call from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday August 13th, at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick and a service on Thursday August 14th at 10am. Burial will take place immediately after at Hope Memorial Gardens, 2447 Center Road, Hinckley.
