She was a Louisville native and a graduate of Loretto High School. Barbara was a long time member of The Shrine of St. Martin of Tours, where she was a member of the choir.
She was the daughter of the late William and Mable Poff Cain.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenneth Botner and her three children; Ken, Bryan and Brad Botner and her ten grandchildren.
Barbara was entombed in the Gloria Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at The Shrine of St. Martin of Tours, 639 South Shelby Street.
A bereavement luncheon will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus in the Parish hall behind the Church immediately following the Mass.
Please RSVP family at [email protected] if you can join them for the luncheon, so that the proper accommodations can be planned in advance.
