Barbara A. Buford

Barbara A. Buford, 82, of Somersworth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, just four days after joyfully celebrating her 82nd birthday. She was surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Born on November 14, 1943, in Rochester, Barbara was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Pearl (DeGrace) Nadeau. She dedicated many years of her career to Data General, working in the manufacturing department until her retirement.
Barbara found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She adored tending to her flower gardens, spending time with her cherished dogs, and making her daily trips to Walmart-where walking the aisles brought both exercise and connection with the many friends she made throughout Somersworth.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Buford, and her son, Eric J. Nadeau.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, Stephen Landwert and his spouse, Tammy; James Landwert; Julie Brown and her partner, Jeff McAfee; and Lisa Woodward and her husband, Steven. She is also survived by her siblings, Yvonne Roussell, Frank Nadeau and his wife, Kathy; and Raymond Nadeau and his wife, Eileene; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Friends and family are called to visit from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave, Dover, NH 03820. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Martin Church, 120 Maple St, Somersworth, NH with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Somersworth.
