Barrington- Gayle Christine Krupa, 70 years old, of Barrington, NH passed away on November 11, 2025, in the arms of her loving husband of 45 years, from complications of pneumonia.
Gayle was born on June 16, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to Clyde T. Gibbs and Freda A. Manhart (Gibbs). She spent her childhood years growing up in Madison Heights, Michigan and it was there she attended Lamphere High School and took other technical classes as they relate to bookkeeping. Following graduation in 1973, Gayle moved with her family to Illinois and then on to St. Petersburg, Florida, where in 1978, she began her career in the financial department of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
It was at Liberty Mutual, in 1978, that Gayle met her future husband, Eugene (Gene) Krupa. They were married on June 28, 1980. In 1990, both Gayle and Gene transferred to Liberty Mutual's Home Office in
Dover, New Hampshire, where they worked until their retirement in 2011.
After retirement they spent their time enjoying the weather year-round with their "pups". They enjoyed hiking, music, the holidays, long walks with the dogs, visiting her mother, brother and sister, and Gene's family in New Jersey. More recently they traveled abroad to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Greece and Croatia. The most recent trip was to Budapest and Austria.
Gayle was a wonderful wife, sister, friend and colleague, we will miss her dearly. Her life was defined by family, faith, service to others and to her past and present canine companions, who loved her dearly. She was a dear, gentle, kind hearted person, who was willing to help anyone who needed it. Gayle had a wonderful smile, beautiful hair, a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. A vegetarian, she loved to cook meatless dishes. She enjoyed short trips locally and would frequently have lunch out with friends from work and other places.
Gayle's life's passion was raising awareness for animals, who have no voice. Her love for animals was unparalleled and this love led her to the creation of "Sadie's Page Group for Animal Lover's" on Facebook. It was truly her pride and joy. She dedicated her whole self to the group which grew to over 10,000 members, all bonded by their love of animals. Gayle brought smiles and happiness with her posts and videos and received numerous compliments from members worldwide of how she brightened their daily lives.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Clyde T. Gibbs Jr. She is survived by her husband Gene Krupa, of Barrington, New Hampshire and her sister Ruby A. Gibbs, of Centralia, Illinois.
She also leaves behind the Krupa Family: Gene's mother, Ellen, Paul Krupa, Lori Krupa (former wife) and family, Steve and Mandy Krupa and family, Shirley Guttridge and family and Sharon Risden and family, plus cousin Debbie Dunn and her husband Ben and numerous other cousins residing in Illinois.
