Barbara C. Schuler, 93, of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Robert Caverlee and Lillian Caverlee.
Barbara was born on January 26, 1932, in Logan, West Virginia. She attended school at Mary Washington and UVA, then pursued her career in teaching at E. C. Glass High School.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed golf, reading, and baking.
Barbara is survived by her 2 children, Thomas F. Schuler (Michelle) and Margaret S. Justis (Neal); 4 grandchildren, Leah Lagesse, Matt Justis (Erin), Patrick Schuler (Hope), and Michael Schuler (Colleen); 2 great-grandchildren, Thane Justis and Daniel Lagesse.
Celebration of life will be on February 7, 2026, at 11:00a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
