Barbara Cabrera

Barbara Orquidea Cabrera was born on December 8th, 1970. She was born in the Dominican Republic to Mercedes Cabrera and the late Domingo Cabrera. She is survived by her three daughters, Efrangeliz Medina, Yassenys Medina and Yariliz Medina. She loved her grandchildren, Jadiel Andre and Yoel Juliano Young dearly. She is survived by her siblings Domingo Cabrera, Germania Cabrera, Lucila Cabrera, Jose Domingo Cabrera, Jacqueline Cabrera and Domingo Antonio Cabrera.
Barbara resided in Mcleansville, North Carolina. She attended Hostess College and attained her Associates in Dental Hygiene, a field that she worked for 27 years. She worked at Smile Starters for 18 years with coworkers she thoroughly enjoyed and loved. Barbara had a love for cooking like no other and she deeply enjoyed feeding others and showing them the flavors of Dominican cuisine. She also enjoyed styling hair. Barbara attended Saint Mary's Catholic church where she volunteered often.
Barbara peacefully passed away on April 1st, 2025. Her funeral will be April 6, 2025 between 12:30-4pm at Triad Cremation and Funeral Services.
Barbara was always known as the life of the party and she loved to dance. She loved traveling to her home country and enjoying the beautiful beaches and the food. She was a guiding light, a source of endless love and the heart of her entire family. She dedicated her life to nurturing, supporting and uplifting everyone around her. She was a woman of strength and grace, always putting everyone's needs before her own. Her light and love will live on forever.
