Barbara Lou Carns, age 84, beloved wife of the late Judd Edward Carns, Sr., entered into rest on Wednesday March 5, 2025.
She is survived by her sons, Judd Edward Carns, II (Julee), Jeffrey Michael Carns (Glori); daughters, Jennifer Lorson (Fred), JoEllen Andrews; grandchildren, Jessica Stansberry (Jay), Stefanie Wilkinson, Lindsey Ferguson (Wesley), Justin Hoover (Kerry), Amanda Bohn (Joshua), Whitney Andrews, Patrick Andrews, Judd E. Carns, III. (Melony), Kaylan Carns, Jacey Lawrence, Jeffrey M. Carns, II.; and nineteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Earl Read and Ellen Thomas Read; and great granddaughter, Leea Hope Stansberry.
Ms. Carns was a member of the Hephzibah United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
At this time no formal service will be arranged.
