Pagenkopf Funeral HomeIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Comstock, age 77, who departed this life on September 27, 2025. Born in Watertown, Wisconsin, on September 1, 1948, to James Comstock and Pauline Busalacchi.
A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, Barbara forged a long successful career as a manager at AT&T and a short, memorable, position at Retzer Nature Center. She often spoke passionately about her love for reading, frequently visiting the Oconomowoc Public Library that sparked her creativity. As a published poet, Barbara had a gift for writing that deeply touched those around her, allowing her to express her innermost thoughts and feelings through the written word.
Barbara was a true animal lover, cherishing the companionship of both cats and dogs. Her pets brought her joy and comfort, serving as steadfast companions throughout her life. She will be remembered not just for her accomplishments but for her generous spirit and the warmth she extended to everyone she met.
Barbara is survived by her brothers Philip (Rhonda) Comstock and Ted Comstock; her nephew, Drew Comstock; and her cherished friends, Brenda Fleury, Joanne Gaurke-Kullmann, and Paula Allomong. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Comstock.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Mission Creek Senior Living and Brighton Hospice for their compassionate care during Barb’s final days.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Agape Community Church (4449 W Wisconsin Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072) led by The Rev. Dr. Florin Docea from 10:30am-11:30am with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, family asks donations to go to Haws or the Retzer Nature Center in Barb’s memory.
