Barbara Sandusky Comstock

Barbara (Sandusky) Comstock, 81, of Wallingford, passed away November 2, 2025 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Donald Comstock.
She was born in Wallingford on March 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Theresa (Wigh) and Alex Sandusky. She worked for the Wallingford Board of Education and the Adult Education Department.
She is survived by her children: George E. Mitchell III (Rose) of Southington, Jonathan A. Mitchell (Theresa) of Revere, MA, and Susan M. Mitchell of New Haven. She also had three step children: Stacey Finch (Jerry) of Middlefield, Donald Comstock, Jr. (Tracy) of Wallingford, Sarah Godden (Rick) of Baton Rouge, LA, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister, Gail Kearney (Barry) of Columbia, MD, her brother John Sandusky (Kathy) of Meriden, and many nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends and visitors at B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM when the funeral will leave for a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford. Interment will follow at Saint John Cemetery. It is suggested that contributions in her memory be directed to the charity of one's choice.
