Barbara Davis Pringle
1945 – 2021
On September 19, 2021, God called Sister Barbara Davis Pringle to come home; she was 75. She is now reunited with the love and light of her life, her husband of 34 years Richard Pringle, who passed in 2018, parents Vincent and Bernice Wade Davis, three brothers, and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her are daughter Donna (Les), son Darel (Angela), son Marcus, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Dan, sisters-in-law Betty, Mary, Ruebelle, Ethel Mae (who is 103 years old); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Barbara was born on October 28, 1945, in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she grew up. When she started a career in banking, she moved to Brooklyn, New York. She attained many specialty degrees and certifications as a loan officer at the Federal Reserve Bank on Wall Street.
After retirement, Barbara and Richard came to Utah, 1996 to be closer to family. She was a faithful and serving member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ where she was known for wearing her big dressy hats at Sunday service.
She was a giving person who helped many people in a time of need to get back on their feet. If there was anything she could do for you she would. She had a big heart for everyone.
Services will be held on October 2, 2021, at Myers Mortuary of Ogden at 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden Utah, 84404 in the following order: Viewing 12:45-1:45 p.m. with a Funeral at 2:00 p.m.
