Barbara J. (Parent) DelGreco, 91, of Worcester, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Her husband Paul L. DelGreco passed away in 1985.

Barbara leaves her sisters, Patricia A. Palubicki of Island Lake, Illinois and JoAnn Periman of Worcester, with whom she lived; seven nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, four great-great nieces and a great-great nephew.

She was predeceased by her sisters Ann M. Warren and Phyllis F. Nelson, a nephew and countless dear friends.

Barbara was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph D. and Mary (Kapusta) Parent and lived in Worcester all her life. She attended North High School.

Barbara worked in the food services department at UMass-Memorial Medical Center for many years, before retiring. Previously, she was a men's clothing sales clerk at the former Ware-Pratt Co. and Wallach's in the Worcester Center Galleria.

Barbara was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She enjoyed traveling and family time at the Cape. She loved staying active, playing tennis, bowling, golfing and gardening at her home.

Calling hours are Sunday, June 29, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral Mass will be Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
