Barbara Lynn DeNicola Pavlak

Barbara Lynn DeNicola Pavlak, age 61, of Greeley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on October 30th, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.
Born to Anthony and Eleanor DeNicola, Barbara lived a life filled with laughter, light, an endless appreciation for the beauty of the world around her. She shared her heart and her home with her beloved partner, Carl Lessig, their dog Blaze and their cats.
Barbara was a devoted mother and best friend to her daughter, Heather Lawrence and her partner Fred, and to her son, Cain Pavlak, and his wife Casey Hemminger. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Kennedy and Joseph Pavlak, who were the lights of her life.
She is also survived by her sister, Georgianne Tompkins, and her husband Bob, along with their children Eric and his wife Megan, Kyle, Craig, Kira her partner Tyler and her great niece Scarlett; and by her brother, Tony "T" DeNicola, his wife Diane, and their son Jared.
Barbara had a deep love for the outdoors, the beach, and the warmth of the sun. She loved to take long walks and was a true lover of animals. She found peace in nature and joy in simple moments. Those who knew her will remember her radiant smile, her generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved.
Her family and friends will carry her spirit with them always - in every sunset, every walk in the woods, and every moment spent soaking up the sun she adored. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
