Barbara Darnell Deville

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Barbara Darnell Deville will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Pineville, with Father Dale Meade officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Deville, 70, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 26, 2024, Woods Haven Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, Pollock, LA.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a woman of many talents, an accomplished painter, wood worker, and had an amazing eye for decorating. She an extensive and elaborate button collection that was the awe of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, KB and Mary Helen Craft; one granddaughter, Chloe James; three brothers, Wayne Perkins, Dalton Perkins, and Bo Craft; and one sister, Ruby Dickens.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Carlton Henry Deville of Deville; one son, Robert Deville (Kim) of Turkey Creek; three daughters, Heather Johnson of Alexandria, Amanda Patterson of Alexandria, and Courtney Graham (Richard) of Deville; one brother, Jimmy Ray Craft of Texarkana; one sister, Ruth Walters of Leesville; eight grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Cearey James, Louis Deville, Lil Deville, Cora Patterson, Cameron Jeansonne, Blake Voisin, and Holden Graham; and two great grandchildren, Adaleigh James and Addy Johnson.
A time of visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Pineville, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 12:00 noon. to 2:00 p.m.
