Barbara Diffie Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wolfe Funeral Home - Fort Mill on Oct. 1, 2025.
Barbara Kay Diffie, 68, of Tega Cay, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Barbara was the beloved daughter of the late Myron and Billie Henderson. She had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in fishing, cooking, and sewing. A dedicated educator, Barbara taught technology for several years, always leading with compassion and putting others before herself. She touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness and grace. Many who knew her said that their favorite part of her (even though she thought otherwise) was her loud, lively, and contagious laugh. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and her cherished dog, Daisy.
She is survived by her daughters, Aimee Kern of Charlotte, NC, and Jessica Diffie of Belton, MO; and her four grandchildren: Braiden Kern, Nadia Jordan, Jamison Jordan, and Reese Kern.
Services will be announced at a later date in Kansas City, Kansas.

My thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort. Aimee and Jessica-.you are both in my prayers. I know this is a very difficult time. A mother“s love is forever. Those we love may leave us but the memories we have will last forever! Barbara was a special friend who would always make me laugh. We had so many fun times together over the years. Will never forget our first Ski trip to Colorado with Joshua and Aimee. It was the first time any of us had been in a hot tub and snow was falling all around. Many memories helping you buy your new home in PV and getting it fixed up and the backyard landscaped. Your infectious laugh, compassionate ways and adventurous spirit will always remain in my heart. Love you! Aleta
