Barbara Dinkins Obituary
Barbara Gail Dinkins, 69, of Glen St. Mary passed away on December 2, 2025 at her home. Barbara was born on July 10, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to Mr. Ralph and Mrs. Mary (Nabors) Roberson. Ms. Dinkins would work for over twenty years for Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Barbara’s greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She loved to spend her free time surrounded by her family and looked forward to trips out to eat and shopping. Barbara also loved her Georgia Bulldogs. She attended River of Praise Worship Center in Yulee and enjoyed her time in worship there.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, “Bushy” Dinkins.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tiffany (Josh) Mercer of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Abigail, Addison, and Ava; brother, Gary (Cathy) Roberson of Yulee; and nephews, Eric Chase Roberson and Kenny McKuhen.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Osburn officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow tentatively at 2:00 PM at Hughes Cemetery, Florida Avenue, Yulee, Florida.
The staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dinkins family during their time of loss.
