Georgia Mae Dinkins

Georgia Mae Dinkins, age 94, of Prichard, Alabama, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. She was born on May 25, 1931, in Prichard, Alabama, where she spent her entire life surrounded by family, community, and faith.
A devoted and lifelong member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Georgia lived a life rooted deeply in God and family. She was known for her warm spirit and unforgettable presence; a spitfire, talkative, boisterous, honest, and the truest example of a Southern woman. Georgia never met a stranger. Her laughter, quick-witted remarks, and unwavering faith left an impression on everyone blessed enough to know her.
Georgia was the proud matriarch and leader of her family, outliving all of her children and siblings. Her love, strength, and resilience shaped generations. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and more than 20 great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished her deeply and will forever carry her memory forward. To them, she was not just a grandmother, she was their foundation, their guide, and their greatest blessing.
She will be remembered for her passion for cooking, her devotion to God, and the way she created a home where everyone felt welcomed and loved. Georgia meant the world to her family, and her passing is a profound loss that will be felt for years to come.
