Barbara DiPietro Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts & Sons Funeral Home - Foxborough on Mar. 11, 2026.
Barbara DiPietro, daughter of the late Catherine and Harold Kingston of Boston, passed away on March 9th, 2026.

Barbara's greatest joy was her family.

She was married to her loving husband John for over 55 years. Barbara and John were blessed with one daughter, Christina, who married a wonderful man, Gregory Carnes. They have two beautiful children, Maxwell and Salina, whom Barbara doted on and loved deeply. She was a beloved and caring aunt, cousin and dear friend to many.

Barbara was a friend to everyone in her life. She was known for her "open-door" home. She took great care to make sure that her family and friends felt looked after, creating a home that was a safe place. Her life was a reflection of her inner strength, hard work, and her quiet, resilient spirit.

Relatives and friends are kindly invite to attend calling hours at the Roberts Funeral Home 30 South Street, Foxborough, MA, on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4 PM to 7 PM. A Funeral service will be held at Saturday at 10:00AM at Saint Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment will be at Knollwood

In her memory, Barbara asked that people pay it forward with acts of kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Dana-Farber.

John, Our heartfelt condolences to you and your beautiful family. Bob and I are so sad and heart broken. We felt a special connection with our sweet friend Barbara and loved her so much. We will hold in our hearts and treasure our memories with the great times we all had on Sunday´s, church, breakfast, prosecco and lots of laughter. Our prayers will forever be with you asking God to hold you close to His heart, to comfort you and give you much strength. We love you. Toni and Bob
