Barbara was such a pleasant person to be around. She loved helping out with the Girl Scouts- Brownie and Juniors. Barbara and Mary McDonagh were so dependable with all the girls. Always think about your smiling face. Rest in peace.......

barbara attended both bible studies that i teach; one here at cardinal cushing residence where we both lived, in hanover... and the other at st. mary´s, where we both attended mass on sunday and during the week. barbara became my steady ride to mass on tuesdays and fridays... and after mass on both days we´d stop at the cushing cafe for coffee and a muffin on the way home. barbara was always laughing, and always very generous. every few weeks she´d take me to panera on a saturday morning for breakfast, and on the saturday before her passing she took me to the venetian restaurant in weymouth for lunch, because she wanted me to see the christmas decorations that they kept up until february. she knew i had a fondness for snow, and would text me snowy weather reports whenever she heard the word snow. she also knew i loved coffee, and would make me a cup for every bible study [in a "world´s best teacher" mug that she bought for me]. in december she bought christmas cd´s to play on our way to mass in the morning because i mentioned that i loved christmas [...we live so close to st. mary´s that i don´t think we ever finished one song]. i miss barbara very much, and i know i will continue to miss her for a very long time. i´ve been living here at the cushing residence for six years, and attending daily mass at st. mary´s for seven. i´ve met So Many kind and generous and loving and supportive people in those years, maybe a few As kind and caring as barbara, but No One MORE kind and caring and loving than she was. thank you barbara. i´ll see you monday [... i hope i make you proud]

I cannot believe I did not get a chance to say goodbye. Barbara and I went to church, breakfast, sat by the water in Marshfeild, the dollar store or Job Lot and all the events we did together at Cushing!
I miss you beyond belief. I´ll continue to pray for you my good friend
