Barbara G. Feeley

Barbara G. Feeley, 82, of Hanover passed away suddenly surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Barbara was a kind soul who was always smiling and laughing. She had a great laugh that her family loved. She was very religious and enjoyed church and bible study where she met many wonderful friends. She loved her family and everyone getting together for holidays and other events. Her grandchildren (and granddogs) brought her so much joy. She was always talking about her grandkids. She didn't hesitate to go on a go-kart with them or play skee ball which she was excellent at.
Barbara loved the ocean. She would drive to the ocean to just relax and take time to herself. It brought her peace. She also loved flowers (especially yellow flowers) and nature. She enjoyed camping, travel, and long car rides with her late husband, Walter. Barbara would always say to family when having a hard time, "put it in God's hands".
Barbara grew up in West Quincy and attended Quincy schools. This also included Quincy College, which she attended in her fifties after being a homemaker and raising her daughters.
She worked as a home health aid for many years. She enjoyed meeting and helping people. During her time as a home health aid, she worked at Cardinal Cushing in Hanover. She later decided to move there. It turned out to be a great decision as she enjoyed the community and the town of Hanover.
Barbara was a beloved wife of the late Walter Feeley. Cherished mother of Colleen Whittemore and husband Mark, and Heather Kippenberger. Devoted sister of Susan Shaw and husband Dana. Loving Nana to Leah, Kevin, Summer, and Charlie. Aunt to Linda Davis, Steve Davis and wife Fanny.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral mass Monday February 19th at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Mary's, 392 Hanover St, Rte 139 in Hanover. Flowers can be sent to Sullivan Funeral Home at 551 Washington St Hanover on February 18th and they will be brought to the church.
