Obituary of Barbara Fisher
On Wednesday August 2nd, 2023, Barbara Lee Fisher (Broughton) went home to be with the Lord. She was 81. Although we are sad, we know she is celebrating in Heaven. Barbara was born on March 1, 1942 in Wilberton, Oklahoma. She lived all over as a child settling in Silverton, Oregon. It is here where she met the love of her life, Bob, and they were married in 1960. They were married for 58 years before Bob's passing in 2018. She has been reunited with Bob, and her eldest son Tim, who tragically passed in 2011. She loved horses, Native American art, QVC, and jewelry, but the most important thing in her life was her faith in Jesus Christ. She loved to cook big meals for her family, beans and fried potatos were a favorite, and laugh until we cried at all the stories the family would share. She loved her family dearly for her 4 sons; Tim, Dan (Alicia), Jeff (Shelly), Dwight (Stephanie), 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids, plus countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. You will always be in our hearts, until we meet again.
