Barbara Frederick Obituary
Breaux Bridge- A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Barbara A. Frederick, 75, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate the memorial service. Readers will be Kiersten Crosby, Tina Frederick and Kaleb Crosby. A eulogy will be read by her granddaughter, Emily Crosby.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
She was born on July 7, 1948. Barbara was a woman of great faith who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She embraced a prayerful and faithful life. She was a CNA and touched the lives of many patients and their families with her compassionate care and unwavering dedication. Her warm smile and kind heart brought comfort to those in need. Barbara had a passion for plants and possessed a green thumb. Animals held a special place in Barbara's heart, and she found pure joy in their presence. She also enjoyed watching FOX News everyday!
Barbara A. Frederick was well-loved by her family and friends for her genuine warmth and unwavering faith. Her vibrant presence filled every room she entered, leaving an imprint on the hearts of those who knew her best.
She leaves behind her children, George Crosby, III (Kiersten) and Rachael Crosby; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Janelle LeBlanc, Clifford "Blanco" Frederick, Jr. (Delores), Cathy Borchalli (Kamal), Shirby Frederick (Tina), and Julaine Frederick; and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford "Coon" Frederick, Sr. and Agatha "Bye" Latiolais Frederick; brother, Russel Frederick; and grandchild, Blake Crosby.
May Barbara A. Frederick's soul rest in eternal peace, forever cradled in the loving arms of the Lord she so devoutly believed in. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a shining light of love and compassion.
