Barbara Frosch Obituary

Barb graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1955. For 21 years, she worked at Hillsdale College as the house director for Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. She was also formerly employed at Laden Meat Packing in Hillsdale. Barb was a longtime member of St. Peter Episcopal Church in Hillsdale. She was a life member of the Eastern Star Wynona Chapter 162 of Hillsdale and life member of the Grand Chapter Eastern Stars. Barb also was the past president of the Reading American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed canning, reading, attending garage sales, and buying and selling antiques.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy (Dawn Quigley) Frosch of Hillsdale, and William Frosch of Pennsylvania; the father of her children, Douglas Leslie Frosch of Hillsdale; three grandchildren, Dereck (Sandra Barnett) Frosch, Gage (Stephanie) Frosch, and River (Claire) Frosch; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Barb was preceded in death by her parents, and six siblings, George Scott, Marian Kelly, John "Jack" Scott, Frank Scott, Bill Scott, and Robert "Bob" Scott.
A private family celebration of life for Barbara Frosch will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peters Free Health Clinic.

Barb will always live in the hearts and minds of the DSP men. From enjoying her Yumbooos or doing shots of Wild turkey to celebrate after her Thanks giving day dinner. Rest in Peace Barb.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Barb's passing. She will always be remembered as a great friend to DSP. I feel truly fortunate to have had a close relationship with her. During my time as President, her support was immense and meant the world to me. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
