Ms. Barbara Dyre Fuller, 77, of Grenada, MS, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the AMG Specialty Hospital in Batesville. She was born February 18, 1948 in Oxford to Lowrey White Dyre and Mary Hargarten Dyre. Barbara earned her undergraduate degree and completed Pharmacy School at the University of Mississippi. She enjoyed a career spanning 47 years as a Pharmacist, having worked at Bonner's, Sav-Mor, Grenada Lake Medical Center and at the Grenada Walmart. A dedicated lover of all animals, she was always willing to take in a stray. A devoted Ole Miss Fan, she loved watching sports on TV and was very vocal about it when the wrong call was made. Above all, Barbara was a loving and kind mother and sister who leaves her loved ones with many precious memories to cherish for years to come. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Grenada.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Grenada. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Monday at the church.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Rebecca Fuller of Grenada; three sisters, Mary Cathryn Hammac of Ridgeland, Teresa Dear of Madison and Anne Soldevila(Val) of Clarksdale; brother, Tommy Dyre(Lisa) of Grenada; and her nieces and nephews, Amanda Stysly(Jason), Zach Dear(Jenna), Rachel Dear, Brandon Soldevila(Denise), Brett Soldevila(Katie), Derek Soldevila(Meri Claire), Justin Dyre(Jenny Claire) and Rett Dyre(Julie).

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
