Barbara A. Gallio, a former resident of Port Richey, FL for 33-years, recently returned to New York and passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley in Poughkeepsie, NY; at the age of 90. Her life began on July 24, 1933, in Beacon, NY, as the daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Houghtalin) Pavelock.
Barbara was a graduate of Beacon High School and went on to build a fulfilling life in Coventry, CT, for 20 years. where she worked as an accountant for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft manufacturer in Hartford, CT until her well-deserved retirement.
Barbara is survived by her four children: Vicki A. Baxter, Kevin (Linda) Raymond, Sharon Balser and Terrance Raymond; She is also survived by 11 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Gallio, who passed away on February 24, 2022.
