Barbara Garrison Obituary
Barbara A. Garrison, 87, of Rossville, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at IU Health Arnett. She was born December 4, 1937, in Ipswich, Massachusetts to Stephen and Dorothy (Peterson) Achramowicz. She married Francis Garrison, who preceded her in passing.
Barbara loved being a wife and mother and caring for her home and family. She was devout in her Catholic faith. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She will be loved and missed by many.
She is survived by her children, William “Bill” Garrison, Mary (Dwight) Ivy, Steve Garrison; a sister, Dorothy Cox; grandchildren, Angelina, Charlotte, Kenna, Mary June, Johnny, Jeremy, Megan; and numerous great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; children, Teresa Garrison, Lisa Garrison, and Frank Garrison; sister, Patricia and Jane; and granddaughter, Tonya.
A graveside service will be held 10am, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Boniface Cemetery in Lafayette. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel is assisting with the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
