Barbara and Steve became very special friends when we moved to Vestal in 1987.
Their devotion to each other and to serving the community is remarkable.

When I first started going to Temple Israel, Barbara was among the most welcoming and friendly people I met. She made it feel like a spiritual home for me. Her smile and her friendly nature were a welcome to anyone who came for many years. And she was also a magnificent host; being invited to dinner was a great honor and the guests would leave with full stomachs and happy smiles. I feel blessed to have gotten to know Barbara, and pray the Lord will bless and guide her soul as she transitions into the World to Come. May God also bless her family and guide them to the comfort they need in this difficult time.
