Barbara Ann Hamlett of Conroe, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday November 2, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born June 15, 1944 in Rhode Island to her parents, Anthony and Amelia Correia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Hamlett who was the love of her life. She was also preceded in death by her son Leonard Laframboise, a brother, Daniel Correia and a sister Mary Delores Lambert.
She is survived by her son Dan Laframboise of Connecticut, daughter Bobbie Farmer and husband Tim of Hendersonville TN, a brother Manuel Correia and wife Sheila of Rhode Island. Lola, her sweet poodle, whom she loved dearly, was her life line and was by her side every step of the way.
For many years she worked in retail and worked for the state of Tennessee. She was also owner/designer of Classiladi Custom Jewelry in Porter Texas for many years. One of her passions was to design and create jewelry. She loved making jewelry for family and friends as well as customers. Barbara also loved horses, ice cream, playing games, in particular farkle and bingo with her friends and church family. Barbara was a faithful member of Caney Creek Cowboy Church for about 20 years. She served in different ministries over the years but her favorite ministry was organizing the Seniors activities. She continued to serve in some way as long as her health allowed.
Barbara always had a smile on her face and would talk to anyone. She was quite sassy and confident and always made you feel welcome and loved. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all.
Celebration of Life will be Sunday November 9, 2025 at 3pm at Caney Creek Cowboy Church, Conroe, Texas with Pastor Mark Grimes officiating.
