Barbara E. Horn, 87, of Slatington, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren G. Horn who passed away in January of 1999. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Arlene (Anthony) Handwerk.
Barbara was a member of Good Shepherd U.C.C. in Slatington. She spent her days caring for her cats. She truly enjoyed watching T.V. and streaming series including her new favorite, Tulsa King.
She will remembered by her children, Keith A. Horn, of Slatington, Lisa M. Horn Christman of Florida, Gary A. Horn of Slatington, Steve E. Horn of Slatington; four grandchildren, Lucus Kibler, Damon Rex, Scott Horn, Jr., and Nicole Horn; two brothers, Walter Handwerk, Jr. of Germansville and Richard Handwerk of Slatington. In addition to her parents and husband, she was deceased by one son, Scott M. Horn, who passed away in January of 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Slatedale Cemetery, 8648 Brown St, Slatington, PA 18080. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to No Nonsense Neutering and sent to 1044 N. Quebec St., Allentown, PA 18109. Harding Funeral home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
