Barbara Lee Huston

Barbara L Huston went to rest in the eternal arms of Our Heavenly Father on November 23, 2025.

She was a much beloved Daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She was born in Circleville, OH on August 12, 1936 to Theodore S. Blackson and Naomi (Arledge) Blackson.

She was an avid card player and Ohio State Buckeyes fan, a wonderful cook, and the glue that held us together. She cherished her family and loved bringing them all together at her home on Sundays and every holiday until she retired to Florida. She started the very first Girl Scout Troop in Canal Winchester.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Luther and Emma Katherine Arledge, Charles and Minnie Mae Jewel; her sister, Lavella Adkins; her dear cousin, Patricia Blauser; infant daughter, Katherine Mae Brenner; and infant great grandson, Ryder Orange

She is survived by her husband, James E Huston Sr of Stuart, FL; daughters, Terry (Dale) Schacht of Canal Winchester, OH, Sandra (Charles) Gordon of Walterboro, SC, Christine (Tim) Clark of Mt Perry, OH and Jim (Jill) Huston Jr of Stuart, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cody (Lina) Gordon of South Berwick, ME, Heather Gordon of Walterboro SC, Sam (Kristi) Schacht of Thornville, OH, Seth (Heather) Schacht of Millersport, OH, Brad (Jordyn) Orange of Mt. Perry, OH, Katherine Orange of Mt. Perry, OH, Zachary Huston Chicago, IL, Kyle Huston of Columbus, OH; and great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Remy, Simona, Aspen, Levi, Julian, Austin, Harmony, Rynleigh and Theo.

Burial at Groveport Cemetery at a later date.
