Barbara Jean Jenkins

Barbara Jean Jenkins, 82, of Anabel, MO passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Barbara was born on November 18, 1942, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Hubert and Ellen (Premo) Gustin. Barbara enjoyed music, singing, embroidery, and showing horses. She was a dedicated planner, a dreamer, an eternal optimist, and was a take charge type of woman. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her three children, Rita Marie Heitman and her husband Danny, Phillip Alan Green and his wife Laurie (Buerke), and Karl Lee Green and his wife Renee (Young), all of Anabel, MO; grandchildren, Ashli, Lucas, Derek, Kari, Cory, Chancey, Always, Destin, and Eternity; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte Abanes and her husband Al; brother, Hubert Gustin, Jr. and his wife Barb; and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Clair Gustin, Marilyn Gibson, Gayle Lameyer Pratt, and Darlene Lester Bush.

Funeral service will be 4:00 pm, Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO, with Bro. Larry Gilliland officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 pm, Friday, until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Woodville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Friends and family are invited to a dinner following the service at 38049 Mahogany in Anabel.
