Barbara Kaitschuck
Age 88 of Wilmington, Illinois, formerly of Mesa, Arizona, died Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Aperion Care in Wilmington.
Born December 4, 1937 in Joliet, Illinois, Barbara Ann was the daughter of Matthew and Catherine (Zyla) Stariha. She was raised and educated in Joliet, and held several jobs over the years while also raising her three sons. Barbara enjoyed playing Bingo, but she found the most joy when she was with her family. She was proud of her children and loved being a grandmother to four grandchildren and their families.
Survivors include two sons: Larry (Kathy) Kaitschuck of Wilmington, IL and Terry (Elena) Kaitschuck of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren: Kelly (Josh) Tenn, Chad (Brianna) Kaitschuck, Kori Deboard, and Angela (Josh) Coulter; and eight great grandchildren: McKenzie, Hunter, Taylor, Teagan, Emmy, Dylan, Malia, and Macie.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Catherine; her husband, Ronald Kaitschuck, Sr., and one son, Ronald Kaitschuck, Jr.
Per Barbara’s wishes, cremation rites are being accorded and she will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, Arizona.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Barbara’s memory to a cancer charity of the donor’s choosing.
