Barbara Dale Koscinski

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Dale Koscinski, who left us on June 7, 2024, in Manchester, Vermont. She was 69 years old and will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
Barbara was born on January 1, 1955 in Cambridge, NY to Mary and Danny Peters. Her life was marked by her unwavering love, strength, and resilience.
Barbara was a caregiver for all of her life. She ran a home daycare for many years, provided foster care for teens, and later went on to provide adult care. She had many hobbies including crafting, quilting and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the beach.
Throughout her life, Barbara touched the hearts of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. She was a devoted mother, a cherished friend, and a guiding light to all who knew her. Her laughter, wisdom, and compassion will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband (Leonard) of 45 years, and three children (Christopher Dufrense) Danielle Dufrense of Danby, (Sarah Hernandez) Antonio Hernandez of Littleton CO, Amanda Butler (John Butler) Wells. Six grandchildren: Bridget Koscinski-Dufrense, Cayden Dufrense, Manny Hernandez, Ava Hernadez, Blake Butler, and Rhett Butler. As well as three great grandchildren: Asher Bell, Ivin Woodard and Burkly Woodard. Two brothers James and Danny Peters. As well as her beloved dogs Fanny and Mr. Gibbs., who will continue to honor her memory by living their lives to the fullest and carrying forward her legacy of love and service to others.
We find solace in knowing that Barbara is now at peace, free from pain and suffering. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us every day.Rest in peace, Barbara. You will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Second Chance Animal Shelter or United Counseling Services.
