Hagerstown, MD – Barbara Lou Kretzer, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore, MD.
She was born on February 21, 1948, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Alfred and Delores (Lininger) Poster.
Barbara was a graduate of Sun Prairie High School Madison, Wisconsin.
She was previously employed as a Manager in the Fabric Department of Zayre.
Barbara was a member of the Tribe of Judah Word Ministry in Boonsboro, MD. She was an Assistant Pastor with her husband Donald at Tribe of Judah.
She loved canning different foods, singing, and liked people and was always pleasant with everyone she met or knew. Barbara also enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Norman Kretzer, Sr. whom she married on July 19, 1967; son Donald Norman Kretzer, II (Teri); brothers Alton Poster, Doug Poster, and Jeff Poster; sister Lynn Smith; 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 6:00 -8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Dale Martin officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
Memorial donations may be made to Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795 in honor or Barbara.
