Kathleen Knode Obituary
She was born on December 4, 1935, in Washington County, MD to the late Harry Samuel and Rhea Grace (Snyder) Beckley.
Kitty was a 1953 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She was employed with the Town of Williamsport and Washington County Free Library as the Town Librarian for 35 years until her retirement in 2001.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Williamsport, MD. She was a member of the church choir and the altar guild.
Kitty loved her cats and working on word search puzzles. She stayed up to date with local news.
She is survived by her daughter Susan D. Knode; son George F. Knode, III; daughter Melissa A. Davis (Albert E. Jr.); grandchildren Joshua W. Gross and Hanna Grace Davis.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband and friend George F. Knode, Jr. and an infant brother.
Services and burial will be private.
