Harry William Knode, 70, born on January 31st, 1955, passed away on July 16th, 2025. He was the son of the late Merle Knode, Sr. and Lucille Knode. Harry attended Clear Spring High School. He was retired from Groh Realty Biltrite Homes after 40 years. He also worked for Triple Clean Laundromat with his wife for 20 years. He was married to his loving wife, Rose, for 50 years.
He enjoyed taking trips to Lancaster, PA, and watching Nascar racing, Gunsmoke, and Big Bang Theory from his favorite recliner.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky Sottile and husband Brian Sottile, his granddaughter Taylor Jones and fiancé, Timothy A. Kitchen, and a great grandson, Timothy M. Kitchen, known to us as our (little man). Sisters, Lisa Keefer, Sue Sarver (Gary), Brother-in-laws, Danny Kline (Sandra), Jody Kline, sister-in-laws, Peggy Burrill, Linda Kline, and Tammy Cassner (Lewis), as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Merle Knode, Jr., Michael Knode, and Larry Knode, and sisters, Kathy Swartz and Lisa Blair. As well as his father-in-law, Daniel Kline, mother-in-law, Joyce Mason, and sister-in-law, Lori-Ann Kline and brother-in-law, Michael Kline.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21st, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD.
A funeral service will be held the next day, Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Hampton officiating; followed by a graveside service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park 17636 W. Washington St, Hagerstown, MD.
