Barbara Krolick Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, with family by her side. She was born to Albert and Mathilda Walsh on February 15th, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI. Barbara was a 1967 graduate of West Allis Central High School. She was employed at Milwaukee County Bank, where she met the love of her life, Michael. Michael and Barbara were married on November 18, 1972, at St. Therese Church in Milwaukee. Barbara enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to raise her children and spent time volunteering at their grade school.
She loved celebrating the holidays and would decorate her whole house for them. Her family and friends always enjoyed receiving cards and letters from her, that were covered in stickers. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Her lasagna, chocolate brownies, rice crispy treats, and variety of Christmas cookies will be greatly missed. She was very excited to become a grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael; children Christopher (Alejandra) Krolick, William (Kimberly) Krolick, and Susan (Jason) Pederson; grandchildren Caitlyn, Iliana, and Cruz; sisters Karen (Lawrence) Winiarski, Gail Rollings, and brother Albert (Gail) Walsh, brother- in- law Steve (Doris) Krolick, mother- in- law Jewel "Claire" Krolick, and many other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mathilda Walsh, father- in -law Bernard Krolick, and sister and brother- in- law Patricia and Michael Halloran. She will also be greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by the only cat she ever liked, her grand- fur baby, Winston.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora at Home Zilber Family Hospice for all the care that they provided to Barbara and her family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Krause Funeral Home New Berlin, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin from 1:00PM – 4:00 PM.
