Barbara LaVeck Obituary
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, June 17, 1939. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore. She was married to William Humphrey LaVeck.
After graduating high school, she went to work for the B&O Railroad. She was a stay-at-home Mom for years until she went back to work for Baltimore County Public Schools. She retired from the school system in 2001.
She loved baking, was a very good seamstress, enjoyed hosting parties and spending time with family, friends, but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was survived by her children, Bill (Kathie LaVeck) and Laura, her sisters Carol (Don Lindsley) and Suzanne (Carl Klein), her grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Zachary, Michael, and Christopher, and her great-grandchildren, Dauson, Emerson, Waylon, Palmer, and Leila.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Barbara and William H. LaVeck on June 23rd, 2024 in St Michaels, Maryland. The location is the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The event will take place from 11:00am - 2:00pm.
